The global Shell Retail Network is now close to 45.000 sites, making it the biggest single branded retail network in the world. Within that, Shell also operates as the largest convenience store network of the oil majors with 6.000 Shell Select service stations. Shell is targeting growth from consumers on-the-move with a new and attractive assortment. Food service is an important growth category. In France, Shell formulated an ambitious expansion and investment strategy. At the moment, Shell has in the French cluster 12 locations with a fresh food offer. This number will increase rapidly during the next years.
